South Coast NSW WEDDINGS

One thing’s for sure, you’re spoilt for choice on the South Coast. You’ll find historic villages, the Shoalhaven River, the magnificent Kangaroo Valley, beautiful Australian bushlands and the best white sand beaches in the world. As a South Coast celebrant, I’m all over the South Coast and its infectious vibe. No wonder loads of couples have it on their radar. It’s one of the hottest NSW wedding destinations around.

Every trip down the South Coast must include the obligatory stop in historic Berry. The high street is great for a wander and a bite. It’s filled with enticing homewares and clothing boutiques, delectable cafes and restaurants along with the essentials, including two pubs. There’s loads of quaint cottages and accommodation. The perfect base to host a wedding and an easy reach to the gorgeous wedding venues dotted around. You can’t go wrong.

Kangaroo Valley is a special place. When you drive into the valley, you’ll get a real taste of its magnificence. The views are jaw-dropping. The wedding venues in Kangaroo Valley showcase a true Australian landscape. Views into the deep valley that changes colour. Many venues position the ceremony space within a bush setting. The little village has a lovely yesteryear charm. Make sure you visit the Friendly Inn for a beverage.

Little did you know…that around Nowra, there’s a gold mine of wedding venues in Terara and Numbaa. You’ll find rustic country homesteads, river views, lush lawns and intricate garden layouts. Once you hit the turn-off, you’re in for a real treat.

Jervis Bay needs no introduction. The word is out about Hyams Beach with its whitest sand in the world. But really, any of the Jervis Bay beaches can claim this title. Its paradise, when the weather is behaving. Close to the beaches, you find a handful of ridiculously amazing wedding venues in a bushland setting - Worrowing, The Woods Farm, Paperbark Camp and The Cove, to name the best. That’s it, I’m calling Jervis Bay God’s Country!

I don’t need to convince you, the South Coast speaks for itself. Here’s my list of South Coast wedding locations…I don’t know how you’ll choose just one!
